I'm a mother of three, physical therapist, yoga teacher, anatomy teacher and lover of the human body. As a licensed physical therapist for 19 years, I've practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings, including the Hospital for Special Surgery. Through my 20 year yoga journey, I've explored many styles of yoga, and I unite what I've learned with my physical therapy background to provide an integrated treatment and teaching approach.
I'm passionate about teaching and have taught in academic, professional, and community outreach settings. I currently create the curriculum and teach our advanced teacher training programs for multiple teacher training programs, as well as anatomy and alignment infused yoga programs. I received my master’s degree in physical therapy from Springfield College, doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University and served as an adjunct professor for Hunter College. I've completed both vinyasa and restorative teacher training programs.
