Have you been side-lined by a proximal hamstring tendinopathy, i.e. tendonitis or tendinosis of the tendon that attaches the hamstrings to the sit bone? This class is for those who are really in the thick of it, and frankly, frustrated by being told to just rest and it will eventually go away. Of course, it is wise to scale back your forward bends or anything that aggravates the tendon, but we can still work in a pain-free range and address postural and movement patterns that predisposed us to the injury in the first place. We’ll also dip a toe into hamstring strengthening to lay the groundwork for the late recovery phase.
