So much of dolphin pose (downward dog on the forearms) is the balance of the inner and outer lines of the forearm and hand against the spiral of the upper arm. We slowly work on the principal actions required of the two parts of the arm to build up the stamina and endurance required to hold a well-aligned dolphin and prep for Pincha Mayurasana/Forearm Stand.
